Castle Voices is a vibrant community rock choir bringing together singers of all ages and abilities from across the Isle of Purbeck who share one thing in common — a love of great music and singing their hearts out.

Founded in Corfe Castle in 2013 and named after Purbeck’s iconic landmark,
Castle Voices has grown from a small local choir into a thriving musical community built on friendship, fun and unforgettable performances.

Rehearsing weekly at The Mowlem in Swanage, the choir performs an uplifting mix of rock and pop classics, packed with powerful harmonies, big energy and songs everyone knows and loves.

Whether performing on stage, at community events or in concert, Castle Voices delivers feel-good entertainment full of passion, personality and infectious enthusiasm — guaranteed to have audiences singing along,
clapping and leaving with a smile.

​What a night! The Swanage BIG SING turned The Mowlem into one giant choir as hundreds of voices came together for a fabulous evening of singing, shanties, Velcro solos and buckets of community spirit.
​

We were delighted to see our audience became performers, singing your hearts out alongside Castle Voices, Kelp! Shanty Singers, VoiceWaves Youth Choir, the Purbeck Youth Tradfolk Collective and our fantastic house band.  

Your helped us rase the roof with our favourites, including 500 Miles, Lean on Me and Africa, and the theatre was filled with music, joy, even a thunderstorm…and plenty of other goosebump moments.

For one magical evening, Swanage sang as one – proving that you don’t need experience to experience the thrill of making music together.
