❓So what is a rock choir really all about?

As the musical director of a group of people who come together each week to learn new songs, develop their individual technique, and throw the music grow together, it’s incredibly humbling to watch it evolve into something so much more than just singing.

Every Tuesday evening, we all arrive carrying whatever the week has thrown at us. And then, in that first shared breath, something shifts. That connection is made. We are in this together.

That connection grows into support, laughter, smiles, and shared moments of joy. The room fills with a kind of energy and magic that is hard to put into words.

This choir. This musical journey. This magical thing. This beautiful family of strangers.

It may just be the best job in the world, standing in front of these incredible people and, together, creating something far bigger than any of us alone.

I love my ‘job’. It’s anything but! 🎶
